How to charge tax without doing the math
Set the tax once and alpichel works it out on every sale and quote, with the breakdown your customers expect.
1. Choose how your prices work
In More → Settings → Taxes say whether your catalog prices already include tax or whether it is added to the total, and its name.
2. Set the percentage per item
In the catalog open each taxed product or service and type the percentage. Leave exempt items empty. Quotes take the catalog percentage and you can also set it on free-text lines.
3. Sell and check
Each ticket shows the tax ("tax included" or "tax"). With a discount, tax is worked out on what you actually charge. The customer sees the same on the digital receipt and WhatsApp.
